Vertical Grow Systems › Greenhouses

A polycarbonate greenhouse engineered to keep growing after the sun goes down.

Greenfield's greenhouse systems use polycarbonate glazing with roughly 90% light transmission and strong heat-deflection properties, so daytime growth runs on full sun. After dark, fluorescent lighting keeps photosynthesis going, so the crop cycle doesn't stop with the sunset.

How It's Built

Tray count and irrigation, matched to the crop.

Glazing

Polycarbonate Panels

~90% light transmission with strong heat-deflection properties, holding daytime temperatures steady for consistent photosynthesis.

Tray Capacity

Sized To The Crop

Tray count and position vary by crop — up to 600 trays for fodder ("Hydro Fodder Farm") or leafy crops ("Hydro Forest Farm"), and 500 for baby greens ("Hydro Baby Greens").

Irrigation

Sprinkler or Drip

Watering method is chosen per crop, with pump, environmental control and lighting run automatically on a timer/sensor switch for efficient, hands-off operation.

Off-Grid or Utility Ready

Runs on recycled water and accommodates Off-Grid or Utility Power.

Water recycles on a 24-hour cycle inside the greenhouse. The system accommodates Off-Grid or Utility Power, with battery storage available to keep operations running through interruptions — and a 110/220V option available where a heating system is needed. A single access door keeps the controlled environment sealed against outside contamination.
